I'm curious as to whether they do have a RENSIS under the hood or not. In my opinion, they had a good idea with the fast back body and then got a bit carried away.

Looks like a T-II engine. I see a FC dizzy gear driven CAS sensor.
Renesis is much easier in the NC Miata (MX-5).

It practically "bolts right in". NC Miata has more room under the hood than the NA or NB. In fact, it has been "kitted" unlike all the custom stuff you have to do to shoehorn a rotary into a NA or NB.

It is a shame that NC Miatae shells and Renesis drivelines aren't as easy to come by as their predecessors, otherwise, I think that would probably be "the" Miata for me. Well, aside from the fact that fitting a rollbar with a functional convertible top is nigh impossible.

As for the swap, lookup "Hansa 23R" on Google/YouTube.
